Art is an exceptional example of the process of human civilization and can be appreciated not only for its aesthetic qualities but also for its role as a historical document and as a source of inspiration throughout time.
Guerreros (“Warriors”) is an exhibition that continues to evolve, it brought ancient cultures to my attention for the first time in my career as an artist. Many of the pieces are based on iconography found in Greek ceramics from different periods. I was especially interested in the scenes which depicted myths and battles. This was the first time I had worked with this imagery and it led me to discover and draw new elements, transforming some of my characters into centaurs and Cyclops mixing Greek mythology with my iconography.

For this exhibition I made a sculpture and a series of pictures in different formats, connecting the space between these with symbols, numbers and letters which envelop the room connecting all the pieces.
