Collective exhibition
Delimbo Gallery
Sevilla, Spain
20.10.2016 – 15.01.2017

Friends & Family Vol 2” opened within the framework of activities scheduled for the tenth anniversary of the Delimbo gallery in Sevilla, Spain. A collective exhibition in which Sixe Paredes participated together with other great international urban artists: Felipe Pantone (Ar ), SatOne (Ger) and Jeroen Erosie (Nl).

Chosen carefully by the curators and directors of the gallery, the exhibition, which presents 15 works made exclusively for this event, takes abstract art as its starting point and links it with the most avant-garde street art.

In “Friends & Family Vol 2”, the work of Sixe Paredes captures a universe unique to the artist. One that moves between the figurative and the abstract, where primitive forms are raised to other dimensions in an effort to dematerialize and project a new vision that transcends the physical. Multiple symbolic representations interact in different planes, creating a set of elements that go beyond the limits of time.

Next to his work are the collages and paintings of the Dutchman Jeroen Erosie, the sculptures and paintings of the Argentine Felipe Pantone and the large-scale paintings of the German Rafael Gerlach, better known in the scene as SatOne.

The exhibition will be open from October 20, 2016 until January 15, 2017.
